Julie Hance

Julie Hance is Managing Director of Business Development for Executive Education working primarily with corporate clients in the DFW metroplex to develop inspiring and impactful business leaders through custom learning solutions.

Prior to joining SMU Cox, Julie spent over two decades at Boeing and Deloitte holding multiple senior leadership positions in Learning and Development, Program Management and Business Operations.  Significant roles included: leading strategy for the 747 Aircraft Program, project management for Air Force One, organizational design on the 787 Aircraft Program, curating professional and execution skills learning programs, streamlining employee onboarding, and learning impact measurement.

Julie earned her Bachelor of Business Administration summa cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University, a Master of Business Administration magna cum laude from Seattle University, and holds a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management from Cornell.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening and playing piano, and volunteers at the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge in Deep Ellum and as a docent for the DeGolyer House at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden.  She lives in Allen, TX with her husband Corey and their Boston Terrier, Rosie.
